Visit a miniature wonderland in Hamburg, Germany

We passed through Hamburg, Germany on the train en route to visit friends in Denmark back in 2012. I wish we'd known about this tiny world only a few minutes away from us during our layover in Hamburg! If like us you were unaware of Germany's Miniature Wonderland (Miniatur Wunderland) this BBC Travel video is a perfect little introduction to a "hugely interesting" miniature world where visitors can joyously sample a plethora of tiny trains, wee villages, itty-bitty "huge" megalopolises, even flying saucers, burning buildings with fire trucks and firefighters on the job. There are packed stadiums, landing jets, rolling cars, moving pedestrians, park goers, and a lot more.
